Does stainless threaded rod gall during installation?
Stainless against stainless can gall (cold-weld at the threads under high load). To prevent: avoid high-speed installation, use anti-seize lubricant on the threads, or specify dissimilar grades (e.g. A2 nut on A4 rod) to reduce galling tendency.
